Midland Care Adult Day Health is an innovative program providing a safe, secure and comfortable home away from home.

Midland Care Adult Day Health is a program for adults over the age of 18 who are unable to stay home alone during the day. The Adult Day Health Center is licensed by the State of Kansas.

For adults in our care we offer the ability to live at home or with family, but not be a burden, dietary menus that meet health needs of seniors and basic day-to-day medical assistance and monitoring. Adult Day participants engage in a wide range of social and recreational activities depending on thier interests. Educational programs, socializing, exercise, gardening, games, art and volunteering are all common activities at the center.

Qualified medical staff is on site. Nursing services include monitoring vital signs, observing health changes, aadministering and monitoring medications, wellness and diabetic monitoring, wound care, ostomy care and help with activities of daily living with dignity.

  • Midland Adult Day Health provides health care and recreation for adults 18 years and older. This safe, comfortable environment is available from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday. Transportation is available if needed.

 

"My husband is becoming more withdrawn. I think he's bored or maybe even depressed."

  • Adult Day Health offers a variety of enjoyable, stress-free activities. Activities include art, music, gardening, games and more. Opportunities to make new friends and try new things can stimulate new interests

 

"My father needs care I just don't know how to give."

  • Staff are professional, certified and caring. Clinical staff can manage medications, monitor chronic conditions, provide wound care and more. Personal care includes assistance with showering, rest room and other support as needed.

 

"We can't afford nursing home care or even constant caregivers in the home."

  • Adult Day Health provides care for a fraction of the cost. Assistance may be available from the Veterans Administration for qualifying veterans, Medicaid, long-term care insurance or Home and Community Based Services (HCBS).
