COVID19 is creating a burden on our organization to meet the needs of those counting on our services. Volunteers are unable to deliver for the Meals on Wheels program.
PACE participants have underlying health care issues that need monitoring. We must have quality supplies to protect our staff and families on hospice and other programs.
No one was prepared for the change in living caused by COVID19. The unexpected costs of these changes to the delivery of services were not budgeted. Midland Care has other agencies reaching out to us to provide for their clients because they do not have the ability to meet this increased demand.
Your gift today will make a difference in the life of Virginia, providing shelf-stable meals while she stays at home. Your gift will make a difference in the life of George, who will have access to telehealth to monitor his diabetes and breathing problems that make him highly susceptible to COVID 19. Changes in his health can be detected before they become an emergency. Your gift will make a difference in the life of a family that requires special supplies for staff and family during the end of life.
With gratitude and optimism, we thank you for your generosity in this time of need.
Karren Weichert, President/CEO
