Proud to be Kansans

Happy Kansas Day!

The motto of Kansas, “Ad Astra per Aspera” is Latin for “to the stars through difficulties.” John James Ingalls coined the motto in 1861 stating, “The aspiration of Kansas is to reach the unattainable; its dream is the realization of the impossible.”*

Over the last year, we have experienced the “impossible” with the COVID19 Pandemic. While we have been treading the Pandemic for so long, it’s can be difficult to see the good things also happening around us.

Here are 5 things that make Midland Care proud to be Kansans this year:
1. You shared your time, talents, and resources with Midland Care through donations, volunteering, and partnerships.

2. We’ve seen teamwork and collaboration that has helped ensure quality care to those we serve.

3. Compassion has been shared through kind letters, cards, phone calls, and conversations.

4. With your support we’ve been able to hold true to our mission: Meeting individual needs through innovative care solutions.

5. We’ve had the joy of experiencing our community’s love for each other.

We at Midland Care are proud to be Kansans and live in a community that helps make the impossible, possible.
