Socially Responsible Investing Boosts Local Economy
Investing in the communities in which we live, work and play provides economic impact which positively affects our environments, neighborhoods and families. When we improve the lives of those around us, the results are visible, from safe and affordable housing, job opportunities, and education, to healthcare and other essential community services. Socially responsible investing in the long term allows people to help themselves. It provides a window of opportunity for those less fortunate to obtain self-reliance and quality living, ultimately improving community living experiences for all.
For 40 years, Midland Care has been dedicated to providing holistic and innovative healthcare solutions. In 1978, four women realized a need for home hospice services in Topeka. A conversation over lunch resulted in a legacy Topeka has celebrated for decades. For 46 years, Meals on Wheels of Eastern Kansas has provided countless numbers of free, nutritious, healthy meals. Invest in your community today by giving back through the Touching More Lives Capital Campaign.

A return on investment of our campaign was conducted by Convergent Nonprofit Solutions. Upon completion of the Compass Center for Senior Independence, which will house the Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE) and Meals on Wheels, and renovations to The House at Midland Care and Center for Hope and Healing, substantial economic impact to Topeka and the surrounding communities will be realized. Together we can make this happen.
